US regulator fines Altaba over 2014 Yahoo email hack

(Reuters) — The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission fined Altaba Inc., the company formerly known as Yahoo, $35 million to settle charges that it kept its massive 2014 cyber security breach a secret from investors for more than two years.
