Thai court orders telecom firm's former president to pay $1.5 billion

Thailand's court of appeal for corruption and misconduct cases has ordered Sudharm Malila, former president of local telecom firm TOT P.C.L., to repay nearly 47 billion Thai baht ($1.5 billion) to the firm for wrongfully amending a concession contract.
