Regulator asked to implement rules requiring insurers to reinsure locally

Uttar Kumar Khatri, chief of the Financial Sector Management Division of Nepal's Ministry of Finance, said that the ministry has asked the Insurance Board to implement a provision requiring local insurers to reinsure a major stake of issued policies in Nepal Reinsurance Co. Ltd.
