Insurance regulator's committee recommends rules for fair playing ground for reinsurers

The Reinsurance Expert Committee of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India has recommended that after reinsurer General Insurance Corp. of India, local insurers should be permitted to obtain the best terms simultaneously from other reinsurers that satisfy eligibility criteria.
