MacLeod Norway announces COO’s pending retirement

Coprught: 123RF.com / ridoMacLeod Norway recently announced that its chief operating officer, Louise King, will retire from the independent brokerage in December after more than 46 years with the company.

King is described in an announcement as being instrumental to the Sydney, N.S.-based brokerage’s approach to technology and staff succession.

The responsibilities under King’s role will go to two people following her retirement to provide for regional leadership.

John Pino has been appointed vice president of eastern operations and industry relations. He will be based in Sydney with offices in Sydney, Glace Bay, North Sydney and Baddeck reporting to him. Pino has close to 25 years of experience in all departments at MacLeod Lorway.

Jennifer MacLeod has been appointed vice president of western operations and marketing and will be based in Bedford with offices in Port Hawkesbury, Guysborough, New Glasgow, Dartmouth and Kentville reporting to her. MacLeod has more than a decade of marketing experience and also brings operations knowledge to her new role.
